Mission and Goal
The Mission and GOAL of the Council. The goal of the Council is to bring together leaders from law enforcement, fire and EMS services, emergency management, volunteer organizations, the private sector, local elected officials and citizen volunteers, by promoting the core Citizen Corps “pillar” programs (Fire Corps, VIPS, Neighborhood Watch or (USA on Watch) or (USA on Watch), CERT, Medical Reserve Corps, and ARES in the Davis County and other community specific programs as necessary to make the Davis County more disaster resistant and disaster resilient.
